Remarks
The college itself is a good one in Hajipur, Bihar. There are many good things to notice like the academics, the infrastructure, the placements and the administration. The management is also very helpful towards the students and also co operative. In my opinion you are likely to have a good time here.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is well designed to groom the students and make them worthy of the industry. The overall course includes both theory and practical interpenetration of the subjects. It is very professional course with complete training of hotel management.
Placement Experience
There are placements and internships. The placements are provided to almost everyone. They placements offered by the college are all well known and reputed hotels, like Oberoi, Marriott, Hayatt, Taj and many more. So obviously the pay scale gets higher. Also there is 4 months internships offered by the college form 5 star hotels.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is little on the expensive side. It increases semester to semester from INR 40,000- 50,000. It is not that affordable for anybody who is doesn't belongs to a financially stable family. But in terms of the facilities you are getting the money seems quite reasonable if you are able to afford this much money.
Campus Life
There are lots of extracurricular activities. There are sports and games competitions like cricket competition, volleyball competition, badminton competition, carrom and chess college level championships. Also there are a lot of events in the college from new year to saraswati puja, food festival, makar sankaranti, holi and also freshers and farewell are celebrated in the college. Overall the campus life is quite happening and fun.
Admission
The admission process is basically entrance and merit based. For your admissions here in IHM Hajipur you need to complete your 10+2 with a good marks from any recognized board in any stream with english as one of the subject, also you need to appear for NCHMCT JEE and get a decent rank in it.
Faculty
In my opinion, the faculties are well qualified and educated. They are ready to guide you in your life and career. They are very friendly and cooperative as well. This course needs a lot o grooming and practical work, so the faculties are trained to help you out there. They always want you to succeed and be good enough at the field.
