Remarks

The institute had great infrastructure with all the facilities for the students. The classes were equipped with technology and were spacious. The campus life was full of fun for me. Every student was helpful and cooperative.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum was not that beneficial. It needed few changes in it as per the changing industry and various conditions of the market. However, exams and practical?s were held at the end of each semester. It was not that bad.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement cell of the college was the best. They used to organize various sessions and seminars for the students to enhance their personal skills. The institute had tie ups with the companies for the placement opportunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course or diploma was only for 18 months. Therefore, fee structure of diploma was feasible. I could easily afford it with any burden on my family or me. The fee structure for the diploma was Rs.44, 395.

Campus Life

The institute knew the importance of overall enhancement of skills. This is the reason various extra activities were organized in the institute. The students used to participate in each activity to gain confidence and experience.

Admission

There was no certain criteria for the admission of the diploma course. However, it was simple for me to seek the admission seat. But the faculty used to see the previous examination results. The seats were given on the basis of first come and first serve basis.

Faculty

4

The faculty was very well experienced. They had different methods to teach and used to make us learn with their personal experiences. The teachers used to maintain great discipline in class. They were dedicated towards every student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.
