Course Curriculum Overview

its a 3 year degree program which includes 6 semesters. the main core subjects are - housekeeping, food & beverage, food production , & front office.you would study all these concepts deeply, as the course demands.

Placement Experience

our college provides internship for 17 weeks i.e 4 months approx. The stipend is approximately 1000-3000. talking about the job opportunities , the hotel industry have lots of job opportunity but i haven't seen big brands like Taj, oberoi coming and hiring.

College Events

our college host freshers every year in the month of August in which seniors host the event & fresher perform out there. And we have chief guest. Our college also holds farewell every year in which mainly second year & first year participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

i believe it is feasible our fee is 60,000/- per semester if you opt. for hostel it would cost you around 80,000/- so, per year it will cost you around 1 lakh 20 thousand. and if you opt . for hostel your meals, electricity will be included in 20,000/-.

Campus Life

yes are college do conduct sports like kabbadi, volleyball, football, badminton, and 100 meter sprint. and we have volleyball & badminton area where we can play in our break time and also enjoy the moment.

Admission

you get it through NCHMCT JEE exam , its an exam that is conducted every year in last week of April. then wait for the results to come online in the form of all India ranks and on that basis you get your institute(central/state/private)

IHM holds a really good & experienced staff but there are some who cant communicate properly in English & doesn't have proper hold on there subject & don't take students seriously , But overall IHM faculty is understanding & the discipline is strictly followed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free.

Nothing influenced me yet i just have to go for it because of my graduation . Yes they prepare you good enogh for the rat race you are gonna do in coming future . The curriculam is a joke they will put information today and you have to get today only . I would suggest some of the rules and regulations should be maintained by the staffs and students even with teachers. Exams should in such manner no student can atleast face problems regarding admit cards and can cheat . there is no difficulty in in mid one but final one .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Com curriculum at LNMU around 7.5/10 for relevance and coverage. I chose this course because it included all the important commerce subjects needed for government exams, higher studies like MBA, and basic professional courses. The syllabus builds a good theoretical foundation, but it lacks practical exposure like Tally, GST or real industry projects. Teaching methods are simple and could be improved with more modern, interactive approaches. Exams are held twice a year and follow predictable patterns, so the difficulty level is moderate. With notes and regular study, most students clear them easily.
