Best College ever

The only bad remark for the college is the campus size. We have seen college with a big campus and lots of trees. This college has lots of trees but no big campus. The good thing about college is the workshops and practical labs, we are equipped with all required machines and materials. Faculties are also good which makes my college BEST.

I appeared for IPU CET - 2015 to get admission into GB Pant Govt Engineering college which is affiliated with GGSIPU Dwarka.

Course Curriculum is good and well structured. Syllabus is well divided in 8 semesters with no load on student. Each subject covers 4 Units and reference books are also mentioned my University which helps a lot to cover all the 4 units easily.

Various companies joined our college for recruitment and internships. I have seen many reputed companies like TCS, Microsoft, Maruti coming to college for recruitment and interns.

Placement is not up to that much level like in IITs or NITs. But they are enough that majority students placed in their desired companies. Most students get average packages from on campus placements.

Inceptum is the tech fest that is being celebrated every year in the college. It is totally a tech fest where students comes to know about various new technologies and this three days fest is something that every student of college wants to participate.

Fee is pretty much feasible. They are many Engineering college out there and they charge more than 1 lakhs for 1 year academic fees. As the college is Government college, fees is much low which can be afforded by all engineering student. Current fees is 35, 000 per year which is quite low as compared to other engineering colleges.

College is not providing any scholarships programs as fas as I know. But there are many government facilities for scholarships that are being featured in college for the needy ones.

Campus life is good and memorable. Labs are well defined and equipped with all necessary devices and tools. The only drawback is the campus. College has a very slow campus with two badminton court and one basketball court. There is no field for cricket and football. So it lacks in sports.

There is no hostel facility provided by college till now. Students coming from distant areas has to stay at PGs near by college. PGs are also feasible. Many students are paying 5000-6000 a month for PG that includes food, electricity, water, laundry.

Alumni sometimes visit for alumni meet and other works. Seniors currently studying in college are very helpful and kind. They help us in every aspect. As far as ragging is concerned, college is strict for ragging and students understand for this and always support for No ragging.

Exam is conducted by University and we have to appear in it by going to examination center decided by University only. Examination is very strict but not tough. Questions asked in papers are usually taught by teachers and one could easily clear the exam with good marks just by going through the previous year question papers. Most of the time questions repeat which are much enough to get passing marks.

Faculty of my college is quite good and understanding. They understand student problems and always come up with the solution. They never add pressure on students for assignment. They know what they are doing and also the best way to do. They are well experienced in their field and teaching methodology is quite amazing.
