Course Curriculum Overview
The quality of IIT colleges in India is extraordinary. The IIT Palakkad is also the same in their course structure. It is offering a research oriented syllabus. The course is so good it in its own that students are qualifying NET/JRF very easily.
Placement Experience
Several companies like HSBC, Paytm, L&T Groups, ITI Limited, Fourkites, Mathworks etc. are visiting our campus every year. The annual placement average for 2019 was 8.44 Lac per annum and the highest salary package was of 16.75 lac per annum.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Apart from the admission fee which is around Rs. 1 Lac per semester, the hostel and mess fee including water & electricity charges costs upto 28500 per semester which is quite nominal in comparison to other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
A merit cum means scholarship is provided to the 25% students admitted ever year, which includes tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend of Rs. 1000. Subject to the condition , applicant's annual income must be less than 4.5 lakh per annum and minimum of 5 GPA in exam Passed.
Campus Life
IIT Palakkad is equipped with fully air conditioned chemistry labs. The labs are having all the required chemicals .They are having different equipments like , SEM , TEM , NMR Spectroscopy facilities etc.
Admission
Admission process at Indian Institute of Technology, Palakkad is quite tough. as we have to qualify JAM entrance exam conducted every year for admission to all the IITs. Then, we need to apply separately for the different IIT colleges. And we get admission through merit of that IIT.
Faculty
A teacher is always the backbone of an academic institution and here at IIT Palakkad, we have well qualified and trained teachers in their respective area of specification. The teaching faculty are always available for the students. we can contact them over phone, mail ,whatsapp etc.
