Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is practical oriented with more emphasis laid on hospitality and food management. There is a lot of lab work and we are taught about food inventory, culinary and kitchen management.

Placement Experience

To land in a job right after the graduation is bit tough but we are given ample training that prepare us to work professionally. Most of the students go for the further studies to grab luring job opportunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible a we have a lot of lab work that includes cooking in the labs and pantry management and the lab charges are all covered in the total fee. For the entire 3 years, I paid close to 2 lacs.

Campus Life

There are a lot of facilities provided by the college one of them being the well equipped lab with a lot of cutlery. There is sports facility in the college too and a gym in which most of the students work out in their leisure time.

Admission

I filled the application form through offline mode. The entrance criteria is on the basis of marks obtained in NCHMCT JEE. I secured decent rank and hence selected for taking the admission in the college.

Faculty

Most of the faculty have served their time as chefs in some of the well-known hotels and resorts. They have good experience in the hospitality industry and are acing their teaching job as well with their friendly nature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free.

Nothing influenced me yet i just have to go for it because of my graduation . Yes they prepare you good enogh for the rat race you are gonna do in coming future . The curriculam is a joke they will put information today and you have to get today only . I would suggest some of the rules and regulations should be maintained by the staffs and students even with teachers. Exams should in such manner no student can atleast face problems regarding admit cards and can cheat . there is no difficulty in in mid one but final one .

My story

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Com curriculum at LNMU around 7.5/10 for relevance and coverage. I chose this course because it included all the important commerce subjects needed for government exams, higher studies like MBA, and basic professional courses. The syllabus builds a good theoretical foundation, but it lacks practical exposure like Tally, GST or real industry projects. Teaching methods are simple and could be improved with more modern, interactive approaches. Exams are held twice a year and follow predictable patterns, so the difficulty level is moderate. With notes and regular study, most students clear them easily.
