Remarks

the college overall gave me the memorable and one of the best experiences in my life that not only evolved me as a personality but also as an engineer. i got confidence all because of this college, the campus life was awesome and so does the whole college.

Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum of this course includes all the basics and updated knowledge. since it is a 4 year course divided into 8 semesters, students has to appears for exams that are conducted every year. the course is just same like other IITs syllabus.

Placement Experience

the placements opportunities are so far good and impressive as it is IIT so no doubt the associations has to be strong and with good reputed companies which were, that not only boosted the confidence of students but also gave them golden opportunities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure is not expensive according to the quality of knowledge and guidance we are receiving here from our faculty also the infrastructure and facilities we are getting. the fees includes tuition, registration, admission and other expenses makes the total of 8.34 lac for the 4 year course.

Campus Life

the extra curricular activities conducted by college are several and very energetic that not only encourage students to perform good in academics but also in other activities like sports, competitions, events and other cultural celebrations.

Admission

the admission of this college depends on the rank students get in JEE advanced and the 10+2 percentage that should be above 75%. then through the merit list and the counselling, colleges are allotted tot he students, and i was landed here.

the faculty of the college is very supportive, helpful and all in all good teachers to get learned from. professors are highly accomplished and are experienced from the industry and also from the academics background. they are even friendly and interactive in nature.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.
