Remarks

I have a pretty good experience with the Indian Institute of Technology , Palakkad . the climate here is awesome . It is in the heart of western ghat which adds the beauty to it's infrastructure . the earlier placements were also good and the alumni network helps us to groom our soft skills. All kind of basic amenities like medical facility, pure water etc. are available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here, the B.Tech course is designed in such a way that the students would not feel any kind of burden on them. the exams are conducted every 6 months on semester basis and also includes internals after every 3 months. We have plenty of time to enjoy.

Placement Experience

During the study of our final year course, the companies visits our campus and take exams to shortlist for interviews . and those who are selected gets good amount of salary packages from these companies. It varies from 10 to 15 lac per annum on an average. companies such as L&T works, ITI Limited etc. visits our campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

If a student is a hosteler then the total expenditure of college and hostel is Rs. 134100 per semester. If the student is a local resident and he does not require hostel then the total expenditure is 107000 per semester.

Campus Life

IIT Palakkad library is based on bar-code system which allows student to borrow the books and easy to handle for their staff. shopping complex, hospitals , medical colleges are within approach of the students. 3 resturants are working in the area for the residents.

Admission

The students from science background having Physics, Chemistry , Mathematics as the subject are need to crack JEE Mains first and then JEE Advance , which is conducted every year across the country. Then the students will get the admission.

Faculty

Our teachers are the one who helped us in tackling the new situation of hostel life in a very young age of 16-17 years. They are very keen in observing the students activity and teaching them in easiest way possible.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

A fun ride

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was honestly quite easier than my 10th grade i would say its really easy tbvh i honestly found the prob part a bit difficult as im usually not a huge fan of math or accounts. (Numerical concepts in general) I think its quite outdated though. It doesnt teach you anything related to digital marketing or newer concepts.
