Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of the course is 2 years and it is further divided into 4 semesters. The course includes various studies of English literature and famous writings and mythologies of famous cultures to give the students an essence of how this language has been reinvented in each culture.

Placement Experience

The placements at our college are decently good. Almost, 70% - 75% of the students who are interested and eligible get placed every year and the college has been trying to improve their percentage which is rising steadily.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for M.A course from the university is very nominal since the college offers both on campus and distance education in the same amount. We are charged Rs. 3,700 every year for a course duration of 2 years making a sum total of Rs. 7,400.

Campus Life

The college offers various co-curricular activities to the students to make their college experience fun, engaging and full of learning that helps in their holistic development. Students are involved in activities like singing, dancing, dramatics, debating and much more.

Admission

The admission process to get into this college for Masters in English course is to have a Bachelor?s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and along with this the students should have done 10+2 from a certified/board or university.

Faculty

The faculty at BAOU is top notch and have extremely unique ways of teaching the students. We have a number of seminars and workshops throughout the year to know about various topics and the teachers of our faculty do not impose their thoughts instead they create a very nourishing environment where the students are free to spill their thoughts.

ITNU means total independence!

Placement Experience:

I am in my 7th semester and I was asked to apply. After beging rejected from two I was still provided the opportunity and in 4th attempt I finally made it. Likewise every student is provided ample chances and mostly in penultimate semester around 70% students are placed. Rest all get one final chance in the massive placements activity in the final semester.

About the placement procedure, from the very first Trimester we are being prepared for aptitude tests,Group Discussion rigorously and mostly after our 4th Trimester we get eligible for our placement right after our internship duration and we are being prepared very well for placement season and encouraged for the same. Few of the companies visited EY from the big four then Zomato Alumni's etc., no of companies till now came for placement are 100+ and for different roles also. Highest pacakge is of 12 Lakh CTC.
