Course Curriculum Overview

As it was a technical course but we had lectures regularly along with the lab sessions. As per my mere viewpoint, the exams were easy to crack as we had much time between the internals and externals along with the final submissions.

Placement Experience

4

As the bachelor's degree was of three years, the job opportunities especially for our batch was minimal. Although, based on personal skills students took the chances of doing the internships offered by college while some candidates applied for the job through online platforms.

College Events

3.5

For the student's refreshment from the curriculum, the college organized several dance programs where students gave group shows. Also, there was a regional dance and independence day celebration by the students themselves at the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Here, including the registration charges and the first-year tuition fees, the total payment was 7,740 while the fees were much feasible. Next year, I gave 7,340 and the same for the final year so from my side the fees were feasible, and also rest of the students felt the same.

Campus Life

The CMD PG College had annual sports programs where students participated in a larger number. There was a mega blood donation camp at the campus itself. The religion followed at the campus was different as per the students due to diversity.

Alumni/Alumna

I did not have any talk during my curriculum with the alumni students. However, I did know some of the senior students after a good interaction, and also the seniors from another stream were also quite interactive and supportive in almost every aspect.

Admission

In this private institution, for Bachelor of Commerce in Computer Applications, the admission was given based on the previous academic scores. The mode of the admission this college had was merely offline and there were 30 seats for the course I selected.

Faculty

4

The faculty was not much experienced by they were much qualified and they knew the academic pattern perfectly. Also, they perfectly knew how to conduct a lecture that students can get all the particulars of the topic at once.

Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University - [PRSU], Bachelor of Vocational Studies [B.Voc.] (Renewable Energy Management)
Reviewed on Nov 22, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is one of the few programs that focuses on solar, energy management, and practical renewable technologies, which is why it feels more meaningful, modern, and job relevent compared to other traditional degrees. The curriculum prepares students for Solar PV technician roles, site supervisor, renewable project coordination. Students can comfortably move into M.Tech. M.Voc. Even though the curriculum is strong, some updates would make it more competitive. Some classes are still theoritical. Improvement is required in teaching methods. Internships should be compulsory, longer and tied to known companies. Each semester includes internal assessment 1 and 2. Final semester exam and practical exams are included. Questions are usually from the syllabus, PYQs. Practical exams are straightforward if you attend labs. Pass percentage is high.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is everything you can ask for. In the last year of the graduation, you are assigned to a village and you get to apply all the theory knowledge into a real field. You also get to learn from a farmer, and believe me, it is the best experience in your college life. In third year, you get to grow crops by yourself in a field. This makes you understand the practicality of the subject better.

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
