Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very detailed. It was formulated keeping the needs of the students in mind. They give equal importance to theoretical and practical aspects. Classes are very regular and exams are conducted according to the schedule.
Placement Experience
The placement wing is quite strong in our college. Almost 10-20% of the students get placed every year from our college. Reputed companies like ITC and EMAMI have selected candidates from our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the first year is 70600 and for the following years is 65600 which amounts to 201800. It is a bit expensive for the learners. However there are scholarships available for students who find it hard to afford this amount.
Campus Life
I haven't experienced any gender based or caste based bias. It offered me a safe environment for studying. All the major festivals are celebrated in the college. Co curricular activities like debates, court visits, mock trials, legal aid programmes are also held at our college.
Admission
Sarsuna is one of the famous law colleges in Kolkata. The admission is purely based on merit. The students are expected to have scored at least 45% marks in their graduation to be eligible to apply at the institution. There are more reservation in marks for the backward classes.
Faculty
The faculty was very helpful and supportive. They are quite experienced and is interested in imparting as much of the knowledge possible onto us. We are encouraged to indulge and be active in the class and have healthy discussions.
