Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculam, as fixed by the University, is pretty comprehensive. It includes all the relevant and important subjects, divided into 6 semesters, with necessary weightage given to practials/projects whenever required.
Since LL.B is a vast course, the subjects are diverse and are well spread to cover all the important legal fields, from property laws, company laws, torts, to criminal law and human rights.
The teaching methods adopted are mostly classroom based and theoritical, although there are court visits organised from time to time. However, the practial exposure, particularly with respect to tasks like drafting, is still lacking.
Exams are held at the end of each semester, with approximately 5/6 months gap (Normally, in August and in January/February). The internal for that semester is conducted in one sitting almost a month before the Semester exams.
