Course Curriculum Overview

There would be a detailed research work done by the college course curriculum as they are concentrated on one specific part of the whole field. The exams would be a strict evaluation with more paperwork and research-oriented work. The course would provide you a full-fledged in the field of your specialization

Placement Experience

The whole course would be provided with a good deal of stipend and they would also have numerous scholarship facilities in the college. The placements are cent and only high-end companies would recruit students for higher ranking, even they would make them as their technical head.

College Events

The freshers day, farewell and the spring season are celebrated in the college. The state festival Onam is celebrated in a grand manner with a bunch of holidays and food would be provided. Rather than that there would be a technical event that is given much importance for the paper representation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Depending upon the course the fee would be changed and the fee structure would be reasonable as compared to all the other colleges. The college would also provide all the facilities as mentioned in the fee structure and the books would be distributed to the students.

There are skill development programs that would help the students in the development of their skills. There are value-added courses along with that of the regular course which would help the students in their placements. There are gym facilities in the college which would help the students to be fit.

The students are admitted to the college through the merit basis and through the score they have in the undergraduate programs. There would also be an entrance written exam held at the college and the students would be shortlisted and they would be taken for a personal interview, then the students would be admitted.

Faculty

The faculty in the college would tell about the exact workplace scenario and they would help us to gain knowledge from various sources where there would be a quiet good time in the deep knowledge of our study. The faculty are easily approachable and they would help us in all aspects of academics and career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
