Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum at GIMS is meticulously planned and structured so as to provide quality education in order to produce highly skilled and competent medical professionals. Coping up with the course curriculum does leave you with a hectic as well as a satisfied day!

Placement Experience

Students of my course of study [MBBS] have to go through a compulsory rotatory internship which is of one year duration in one of the affiliated hospitals, after the completion of four and a half years of the MBBS course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The annual fees for MBBS course at GIMS is around INR 60,000 which turns out to be around INR 2,40,000 which I personally feel is not that expensive. This fee structure of INR 60,000 includes tuition fees, registration fees and some other fees.

Campus Life

Gadag Institute of Medical Sciences College and Hospital, an autonomous institute of Government of Karnataka, believes in the mission to provide quality medical education and service to anyone who seeks for it irrespective of caste, colour or creed.

Admission

From my childhood I had a dream to become a doctor by profession. I ensured that I took PCB as subject combination during my higher secondary exams and after completing it I appeared for NEET and secured a decent rank in that. I, then, sat for the online counselling and got GIMS. Apart from NEET, another way to get admission at GIMS is by getting a valid score in KCET.

Basically, In India medical colleges will be allotted to the medical or neet aspirants based on the scores they achieved in the medical entrance exam which is NEET. Medical college aspirants are required to apply for the counselling process which decides which college the student will be getting.
