Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty good and well structured with a focus on both research and practical applications. The duration for the course is of 3 years with 2 semesters per year with a class test and end sem exam every semester.

Placement Experience

The training cell does help in providing training opportunities to students. With recommendations from professors, getting research opportunities is pretty easy. Students does manage to get some good offers from research development, education sectors, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for the course is around 4300 INR which is quite nominal compared to other colleges for same course. This fee will cover the tuition, admission and other miscellaneous fees. It's quite a good value for money choice.

Campus Life

We do have a lot of different clubs like arts, dance, etc. clubs. We play a lot of sports in our campus and we also have our annual sports events. We also host our own cultural fest and also celebrate all kind of festivals in our campus.

Admission

Getting admission here was pretty smooth for me. I applied through online mode and got selected on a merit basis. The eligibility is to secure at least 50% in 12th grade. I was pretty satisfied as I got the course which I liked.

Faculty

The faculty members are all highly qualified. They are pretty knowledgable in their domain. I find some affable while the senior professors are pretty serious when it comes to their subject but still helpful.

Placements depends on your skills Usually there is a compulsory internship at the end of 3rd year If you didnt get it via college you should do it from outside but its compulsory And at the end of 4th year you get placement. Placemeng isnt 100% . If you have the skill you will get placed thats the criteria.many people say you are in IIT your life is sorted .but that aint the reality

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.

Remarks:

Placement for IT streams is very good but not good for the core stream. Infrastructure and campus beauty are very good. Faculty are average. Canteens are slightly costly but foods are ok. Hostel and Transport facilities are available.
