Course Curriculum Overview
Our course duration was four years which was divided into eight semesters. The course covered from the basics to the advanced. We received a lot of training regarding the fundementals of drawing and the theories of fashion. We also had to learn the history and workout the future emphasis of fashion.
Placement Experience
Our college placement cell was amazing. They gave us internship opportunities and they also conducted workshops and seminars to get us acquainted with the workings of the industry. They also helped us develop our skills and portfolio to make it easier for us to look for or get jobs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fees as a whole cost me 6 lac rupees, which could be paid in installments. The price was very reasonable as we had complete access to all the facilities and labs provided by the college. We did had to incur extra costs like for the supplies and exam fees, but that wasn't too much.
Campus Life
The college organises a lot of programs in the college like the youth fest, fashion shows, etc. Many workshops like the green fashion intiative and seminars are conducted throughout the year for the students. The college also has a NSS initiative.
Hostel Facilities
The college had an excellent boarding facility with high security and everything. The rooms were all big and spacious. I made amazing friends there and had an amazing time. We were given a lot of facilities and we also had awesome food from the cafeteria.
Admission
To get admission into the college we had to take the SOFT CET entrance exam. The college shortlisted students based on the marks they got in their 12th standard and the entrance exams. I loved fashion and wanted to do something related to the subject so I found the course really good.
Faculty
My professors were all so kind and nice. They were extremely qualified and had worked in the field for so long. They made sure we understood the workings of the industry. They made sure that we had accessibility towards them and also taught us some tips and tricks.
