Utkarsh's Review On All India Institute Of Medical Sciences - [AIIMS], Rishikesh

This course majorly focuses on teaching how the therapy helps in the examination, evaluation and remedy of a victim of cardiopulmonary disease. I prepared for NEET so I was pretty much prepared for the entrance exam for BSC Respiratory care technology as well. The duration is 30 minutes in which you have to complete 30 questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Maths. You can choose between Biology and Mathematics.

AIIMS is a brand in itself when you are a student of this college, you do not have to worry about internships and placements if you have focused on what you were being taught. The college gives internships as well as job opportunities in AIIMS itself, however, if you want to work somewhere else, you can relax as many hospitals come for recruiting the students.

Total fees for 3.5 years is approximately 1 Lakh which covers your accommodation along with the tuition fees. I find it affordable as one is getting the hostel facility along with the academics, not to forget that it is AIIMS we are talking about.

The ambience of the college is very professional yet we bond in a different way. People from different part of the country are gathered under one roof to help people in need, I love how we always say yes to help without any conditions. This college is nothing less than heaven.

The institute conducts an entrance exam for BSC in Respiratory care technology, moreover it is mandatory to have 60% in your 12th standard to undertake this examination. Once you are done with the examination, the college will call you for an interview to proceed further for admission.

The faculty is dedicated to the students and provide both practical as well as theoretical knowledge. The professors are interactive and communicative so that the classes become more intriguing for us, classes are a bit serious and not so fun in medical schools but that's evitable, a little distraction can land us to a huge problem.
