Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good and there are so many chances to enhance your inner capabilities of Fashion management. The duration of my course is two years with assignments and projects. The students are given the motivation to expose their creation in innovative fashion management practices.

Placement Experience

Our college is famous because of its placement cell. There are many companies who come for to offer jobs to the students such as Indian Terrain, Infosys, ITC Wills Lifestyle, JWT, Koutons, Lacoste,Creatnet, Debenhams, East West, Esprit, Fabindia, FCuk, Federated Group, Francis Wacziarg, Future Group, GAP India, Givo, Landmark, Levis, Li & Fung, Lifestyle, Marks & Spencer, Mast Lanka, MCann Erickron, Carrefour, Colour Plus, Creative Group and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for my course is around INR 2.29 lakhs per year. The college does not take any extra charge and my admission fees, exam fees, stationery fees, library and many more are included in this amount. also, the college provides many facilities as compare to other colleges hence the fees is feasible.

Campus Life

The college has air condition Lecture halls, Auditorium with a capacity of more than 200 students at a time. we have a Resource Centre where students can find the best collection of books, periodicals and fashion journals. there is an Amphitheatre to showcase the talent of students by presentations and design collection. we have fully air-conditioned Cafeteria with a friendly atmosphere. the hostel facility is provided to both boys and girls. Also, there is a sports club at my college.

Admission

Admission procedure was step vice, I got admission after completing my undergraduate degree in fashion management. then I had to appear for the General Ability Test (GAT), Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD/PI). then there was a written exam and I qualified all the exam and got admission in this course.

Faculty

Faculty of Fashion Management department is very good. Particularly they always focus on the every student. They always support the efforts and innovation by the students and encourage them to do something better. I am very thankful for all the help.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...

Life in joy

The Eligibility is to pass 12th board and clear the NIFT entrance exam to enter into the college . You can find the form and all in the NIFT website and apply for around Oct - Nov and the exam would be conducted in btw Dec - Feb ,it happens once in a year you can approach coaching centres of needed. Reality Of Joining NIFT As A Student.

I applied for nift only and opted for Leather Design As per NIFT 2018 exam pattern, entrance is conducted in 2 stages viz. 1st Written&drawing test and 2nd situation test.
