Course Curriculum Overview
We were introduced to merchandising and marketing techniques early on into the course. Throughout the course we worked on the current market trends and to analysis the latest evolving developments in the market.
Placement Experience
I got placement at Blackberry Clothing, but making other companies like Numero Uno, Orient Craft, Richa Group, RMX Joss, Rupayan, SportKing, Vardhman Group came to our college for the campus drive. They offered good pay to a great number of students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My total course fees was around INR 77,700. This was quite feasible as most of the fees was covered in it and we had amazing access to the college's resources. The fees are set by Gujral Punjab Technical University.
Campus Life
The college organised tons of functions like the freshers party, diwali, Navratri and many other cultural programs. They always asked the students to participate and create new programs. There were also many workshops and seminars.
Hostel Facilities
Our college offered only girls hostels. They had big, spacious rooms that had the minimum facilities required by the students. We had a big cafeteria that had food for reasonable prices and recreation room with good facilities.
Admission
I applied for the PG entrance exam paying 1,200 rupees. I got the admit card online and went wrote the exam, after which they had a situation test and personal interview. They look at your general awareness, design aptitude etc. They shortlisted me when the results were published after considering everything and asked me to finish registeration.
Faculty
Our faculty were filled with professors and teachers who were highly trained in analysing the market situation and they spend their time teaching it to us. They were business minded and knew how to work within the market. The professors were also very approachable and cleared our doubts for us.
