Remarks
The college is surrounded by greenery near Sahya Mountains. The railway station is near to the campus which make the travel easier for the outstation students. The college offers a huge range of labs for each disciplines. The campus also had really good canteens too. Also the library is always updated with the latest reads. Overall the Campus provides an enriching overall experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is super packed and keeps us engaged most of our time. The students are required to get total credits of 17, 16, 17 and 18 respectively for each semester. Apart from academics, co-curricular activities too are organised regularly.
Placement Experience
The college has really dedicated placement cell. In the year 2019 80% of the students were placed. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Even I was got placed from the college placement. Some of the top recruiters of 2019 were HSBC, PayTM, MayBank, L&T Groups, Mathworks, ITI Limited, AVI Networks, Fourkites, Trimble.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I paid ?23,000 per year for two years for M.Sc Chemistry. The fee is very feasible while compared to other other colleges too. The college also gives 100% off for the entire fees for SC/ST students. There are several scholarships for students based on their annual income too.
Campus Life
The college has well equipped laboratory for each disciplines- Applied Mechanics, Chemistry, Computers, Electronics, Physics, Surveying laboratories respectively. The college has a student body of secretaries known as Student Affairs Council or SAC. This body acts as the bridge between the student and the management and also enables the student to develop leadership skills.
Admission
For the admission process for M.Sc course was based on a online entrance exam called as Joint Admission Test (JAM). It is an all-India level online entrance exam. The exam was conducted in 7 subjects. The selection is based on the final interview which are conducted by the college faculty.
Faculty
The faculty has a combination of both young as well as as senior teachers. The teachers are very helpful and always approachable for any guidance or clarification regarding the studies ans assignment.
