Entrance Preview

CAT Exam, It was around 80 percentile It was unique & interesting and this was the only university which was offering that course(may be one more in Gujarat).

Course Curriculum Overview

It was good. It was great experience to know about oil & gas industry. Course contains a lot about the oil & gas industry-From Upstream to Downstream-Oil Pricing Mechanism-Oil Marketing-Natural gas.

Internships Opportunities

I was shortlisted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited,Chennai. Stipend offered was INR 3000 per month .But I learnt a lot during my internship .I visited a lot of places in Tamilnadu.

College Events

College celebrated a lot of events time to time. Some was technical & other one is Management festivals. Petrotech(technical), Uraja(Cultural), Annual functionI participated in Uraja and i was member of organising team. I contacted a lot of sponsors for our main event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was a liitle bit higher side. You can say expensive not feasible. Fees for MBA was around 2 Lakh in my time but they increase in every batch. You have to check with university about the latest figures.

Faculty was good .All faculty was equal & above asst. professor level. Have depth knowledge & industry experience of their subjects. It was great time to discuss the case study with them and ask questions.

In pgdm from 4 th semester the placement started 400+ company visited 22lacs is a highest package and average is between 7-8 lacs 90+% students will placed To work in corporate as I m targeting FMCG industry

Remarks:

The overall college is good the infrastructure of the college campus and university is full of lush and green environment various event om the regular basis take place In the campus area the university has got it's own airport.

The process of taking admission to the college is quite simple. A student have to fill an online form which is provided by the University's official site. Then after entering all the necessary details you will get admission. The main procedure of the selection is on the merit basis but almost all student got selected require they have their previous result clear.

Distance Learning Arm of UPES

Admission:

I applied for the college by filling in the detailed application form on the official website. I give the CAT exam but since I didn't got good score and I also had to continue my job I opted for a postgraduate diploma program from this university. UPES is a popular University in Uttarakhand and its distance learning arm offers variety of options in the diploma programme. After approval of my application I was asked to complete the admission formalities post which I got the admission in the program.

Remarks:

Our college is one of the best colleges in Dehradun. The placement provided by our college is also very good which is very helpful for the students. The faculty are very nice and friendly. I had a lot of fun at this college.

Best Management Institute with Affordable Fees

Remarks:

Student life as an MBA aspirant went so good with the faculty as most of them were my super seniors and with friends, I never missed my home. I did though, but in a very short period of time, they became my 2nd family. Along with this, the college had a good reputation with popular brands and organization hence, clear our path in achieving good placement with a better salary.
