Fond memories of my time at VMSU

The B.Sc. (IT) course is designed in particular to introduce the concepts of computer applications. The topics included reflect that, with the inclusion of such relevant subjects which are helpful in the professional sense and in understanding the topics and their applications.

There are placements, although the number is not too high. The placement cell of the college helps students prepare for job interviews and connects them to recruiters. The statistics could do with a significant improvement.

The cost of the three year course is 2.06 lakh rupees in total, not considering ostel fees. It is on the more expensive side, especially when compared with some other colleges. It is a quality institution but the cost is still high.

There are different actvities available to participate in beyond the curriculum. SPorts, for example, is something many involve in. There are cultural activities and workshops and smeinars held. The college also has strict anti-ragging regulations.

Hostel facilities are available on campus. The amenities are good, and the living conditions are decent. The cost of hostels is about 35,000 per year. There is good security and help available when required.

Eligibility for application is on the basis of 10+2 results. The application process had to be done at the college campus itself. I filled up the form, and attached copies of important documents such as results and birth certificates, as well as photographs for official use. The application fee was also paid in the accounts section of the university itself.

The faculty members were all very good and helpful. They helped in understanding the topics and taught us in keeping with professional practices. The notes were crucial to us doing well in all the examinations and it set us on our way to success beyond the degree.
