Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum has a lot of focus of theory aspects. We were taught of many issues ranging from patriarchy to feminism and the theories associated with it. The exam structure was based in a semester format.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of the college is average and many NGO's and private sectors visit the college at the end of the semester. The internship opportunities aren't that much and we had to look out in this area ourselves.
Fee Structure And Facilities
There is no mention if fee structure anywhere in any of the websites. The administration fees is exclusive of the normal fees and rest nothing is mentioning on the college sites as such. Since it's a tribal university, the fees would be normal.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activites are in the form of music, dance and sports. We usually developed a habit of excelling in one of the vocational fields. There is no discrimination as such and no tolerance to bullying.
Admission
The admission to the Undergraduate courses is based on the marks obtained in senior secondary examinations of class 12th. The seats are alloted on the basis of first cum first basis. I loved Sociology that's why I decided to pursue it.
Faculty
At Kalinga, the teachers and faculty members are highly experienced. They've been in this institution since it's inception and are now apdative to the changing educational needs. They were very particular about the assignments.
