Course Curriculum Overview

We as students undergo intensive knowledge-based learning in sound recording and sound design. We have an opportunity to gain comprehensive hands-on experience through original recordings, practical and group exercises, and projects.

Placement Experience

The institute provides us with all the knowledge we need for our careers. The rest is upon one's own hard work and dedication. The degree from the institute is of immense value and is appreciated in the industry.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee for the first semester is approximately equal to 79,000/-. The amount includes the tuition fee and those additional expenses for travel, accommodation, etc. Similarly, the fee for the second semester of the college is around 51,185/-.

Campus Life

FTII has a modern gymnasium of its own. Spread over 3000 square feet, it has basic and advanced equipment. We used it free of cost. It is kept open for use 8 hours daily. 4 hours each in the morning and evening hours. We also have a swimming pool in the campus area.

Admission

I got admission in this college by giving the entrance test i.e JET. It is followed by the subsequent rounds of Orientation / Interview. I was finally selected on the basis of my JET score, and performance in the orientation & interviews.

Faculty

We have teachers who have acted and produced theater, have worked with film actors, are efficient trainers, and at times also have acted as a producer. Such multi-talented people teaching us provides us with ample knowledge and experience.

placements here are eligible from the 6th sem . companies like tcs , infosys , capgemini , tech mahindra , infocepts etc visit the campus offering multiple roles .the highest package is around 12LPA while average ranges between 3 to 4 LPA . My plan is to prepare for campus placement drive

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

Beyond the Classroom: Life at IISER PUNE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses which are offered are very up to date and give and actual conceptual understanding of the topics the courses are such that it is relevant to the real world applicantions and program our mind in thinking in a research and analytical perspective. I think the current course curriculum is enough and really good no need to improve further. Frequency of exams are 2 months Midsems and endsems and quizzes in Between then.
