Cinematography in FTII

PG course in Cinematography is a 3 years curriculum and exams are based on semester pattern.First sem covers the basics of film making ,in further semesters specialisation is taught like lighting techniques and extensive hands on experience.

Being in FTII is being branded for life.There are lots of hands-on practice given to students .Theatre opportunities are always open for FTII students.Apart from these various media house recruit from FTII.

Fee is quite manageable .For semester 1 a charge of Rs 38906 is taken for tuition fees,Rs 39403 for hostel,mess and other fees.Thus a total of Rs 78649 is charged and the same continues for further semester.

Extracurricular is a major part of FTII .Every sports event is promoted here .Sports competitions are organised.Theatre activity are also regular.All the resources are made available to students in FTII for their growth.

Well built hostel is provided in the campus.Single and double room is a choice of students.Hostel fees sums up to be Rs 39403 for every semester.Rooms consists of office room,store room ,table tennis room and tv room too.It is a pleasant experience in hostel.Comon bathroom with hotwater is provided ,also water cooler facility is there,WiFi,badminton ,basketball court are some of the facilities provided here.

There is huge network of FTII in media houses and bollywood .Rajkumar rao,shatrughan sinha etc were its alumni.Every year there is alumni meet where connections are increased.Seniors are always very helpful in guiding juniors.

For seeking admission students need tto write JET.Then selected candidates would be called for orientation and interview.After this final merit list will be prepared based on performance in JET,orientation and interview.weightage is 20% JET,50% orientation and 30% interview.

Faculty is so well recruited for this course who are having years of experience in their respective fields.These names are also well known with media industry and they train the selected students very well keeping FTII's heads high.
