Remarks

The college is located in a very beautiful place, and life here isn't bad. There are things to do beyond the primary task of studying and the authorities are helpful. Overall, I'd certainly recommend the college to my juniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course has all the important aspects of the subject included within. The topics are interesting and informative, with the structuring done so that we are always prepared with the basics of the more advanced subjects. The laboratories supplement our knowledge. The exams are held regularly, every semester.

Placement Experience

3

Placements do happen at the campus, although the statisics are not very high. Placement opportunities are provided to everyone, and they help with the preparations. Some of the students get decent jobs in engineering and technical companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is costlier than many at 2.06 lakh rupees for the three-year B.Sc. course. The college has a good reputation and provides good education, so thinking about all that, the cost is mostly feasible, but still on the expensive side.

Campus Life

There are a few extra-curricular activities available in the campus for the students to indulge in beyond studies. Sports is common, with many students taking part, whether at a competitive level or recreational between friends. There are other cultural and technical activities to do as well. There are strict anti-ragging regulations in the college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels have decent infrasructure and facilities. The cost of living in the hostels is 35,000 per year. The living conditions are decent, and there is good security around the campus. Hostel facilities are available for both male and female students.

Admission

Application to the college was a process that was done at the campus itself. The application was based on results of the 10+2 examinations. The application form was filled up, and copies of all important documents were to be attached along with the form, and payment made.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty members would always help us readily. They are all experienced individuals and they would explain the topics to us with great care. Thanks to their help I was able to do well in all the examinations and score well in the course.

Remarks:

I can assure you that SMIT provides one of the best college experiences in India. The faculty here are very supportive, they help each student with their doubts, encourages them to be innovative, and contribute their understanding to the research and development in science and technology. The study pattern is very simple over there, every day we have a new thing to learn, that made our subjects more interesting to study. The study procedure is more than just about studies but deeply in knowledge and practicality. There are many labs that support each student to have both theoretical and practical knowledge of all subjects. Our Institute made sure that the whole course syllabus was up to the mark and that each student gets the best education. All the authorities are very supportive, which makes the overall investing four years here worth it.One of most secure campus for girls (follow the SMIT Youtube channel) and the best part is faculty members are staying in the campus. They are always ready to help you even at mid night. You will find yourself in a place ?ÛÏhome away from home?۝.The biggest challenge for an engineering graduate is to get a decent job or a startup or a platform from where he/she can pursue her higher studies right after getting a Degree as he/she would have invested a lot of money, time and hardwork. Very few colleges have infrastructures to meet all these demands and SMIT is one of them.

After doing my 12th with 68% in CBSE, I was looking for colleges to persue BBA. One of my cousins was doing BBA from Sikkim Manipal University in Magitar and asked me to search about it online. I was impressed with the curriculum, the infrastructure and one of my cousin already studying there ended me up filling the online form worth Rs.1000 admission. I appeared for CAT exam in which I score 98. Along with application, I deposited my marksheets and other bank details. After few days I got a call for admission.
