Decent College for open learning

BAOU provides students with the students an opportunity to study from far off places which ensure that no student is deprived from the basic right to education. The E-resources are available on the website which help the students. The University provides quality education to students at a very low fees and hence fulfills it's social responsibility.

The course curriculum is really innovative and facilitates open learning. The course mainly covers the different aspects of the business environment. Students are also taught about international trade and it's implications. The term end examinations test the understanding of the students.

The placements are decent, being an open university BAOU doesn't have great placements although the placement cell is active and organizes online webinars and workshops for students regularly, internship opportunities are just about enough for the students.

The fees structure is flexible and the total fees per semester is rupees 4000, making the total fees for the course rupees 24,000. Students have to pay the fees per semester making it easier for them to finance there studies.

Extracurricular activities are minimal, however students do try to make the most of it by organizing webinars and holding online workshops. The students ensure that there is online engagement by way of whatsapp groups and other social media platforms.

The admission process at BAOU is a cake walk, for my course the students are selected on the basis of the marks they obtain in there senior secondary level exams.I had decent marks so I was granted admission, which was followed by the fees submission.

The faculty of the college is really good as the teachers are able to explain such important topics and concepts to the students online and organize extra sessions for clearing doubts. The professors are patient and use different technological resources to facilitate better teaching.
