Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is comparable to other universities in the country and the university has done a good job of including all relevant subjects. The exams are conducted in a timely manner and results are announced on time. There is enough exposure to research and research methodology.
Placement Experience
MGU has placements drives which are carried out by the placement department. There are many different recruiters that come every year, and the college also offers different ways to prepare the students for the placement interviews as well. Competition is intense.
College Events
Several cultural clubs are in the college such as drama club, literature club, etc. Research meetings are also frequently held. Sports events are also held frequently and students are allowed to participate in teams and go for competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For Bachelor of Technology students, the fees per year are over 35,000 Rupees as is the case for B.Sc as well. The fee is not very high and is similar to the other colleges that offer similar courses. This includes lab fees and such.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities are encouraged an many different clubs and student unions are actively organising events and drives and so on. The National Service Scheme(NSS) and the National Cadet Corps(NCC) is also active and they are very good to be a part of.
Admission
Admission was dependent at the time of admission on the scores obtained in JEE exams that are held throughout India. To get admission, you need to have 10+2 with at least 75% marks. The admission process is simple enough.
Faculty
The faculty, in general, is very good. They are all well-qualified professionals who are always at their heels and ready to assist you whenever you require. Many of them have Ph.D.'s and the college hires only on the basis of UGC's regulations.
