Short Story on my college life

The university has provided me a lot with a ocean of knowledge. The service of providing the education to the masses is been carried out by this university for the past 100 years and is still contuining its noble work.

I have passed A.m.u entrance twice. First it for getting enrolled in +2 and second was to get enroll in graduation. And in both time I cracked my entrance and got enrolled. The enrance marks aren't disclosed by the university.

The Bacheleor of social work (B.S.W)of A.M.U specialize there student in Rural and Urban Community Development. The course provide a detail study on social work field. But the time of final year it primarly focuses on Community work which means commumity development study.

No, its was not a stipend internship. We voluntarily joined it. The objective to understand the NGO working structure and serve the society. As I m getting specialised in rural and urban community development so i decided to work in New Delhi under Science aur Kainat Society of India.

Tracing the last years job placement in the department it was 60%. But in masters level it was around 90% as our department provide a Human resource degree along with rural and urban community development.

Our university organise many events ranging from lectures to workshop, drama to rock show, Sir Syed Day Celebration to Almunia Meet and National Celebration to festival celebration.

Admission fee in any course doesn't exceed 25000 rs in any course. And my admission course fee was 7500 rs. And yearly fee is 2400 rs. The university provide many scholarship to its students.

The university provides it almuni scholarship. And central university which is for minorities is been distributed to the students.

The university has its own horse riding club, swimming pool, basket ball court, hockey ground, Gym and cricket ground, etc. Within every hostel there is Basket ball court and table tennis facility.

Well hostel facility is fantastic with all facility, 24*7 water supply and electricity, with daily cleaniness.And dining fee is 1000rs per month with 3 times serving in a day.

The Almuni maintain its close relationship with the university through Old boys Committee. And keeps an eye on the activity of university. The Student union election are monitored by the alumni and guide its candidate through their knowledge.

University examtion structure in on credit based system and semster wise which has been recently proposed by U.G.C is been currently followed by the University.

A.M.U itself is an university that every boy dream to get enrolled in it. Being an historical university with a quality education in every field has given birth to many famous personalities under its guardianship. E.g Javed Akhtar (reowned bollywood's famous writer) and Naseeruddin Shah (reowned famous bollywood actor)
