Incredible place to study and experience

The Institution provides hand fulness of knowledge with discipline. The professors are immensely talented and friendly towards the pupils. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the campus .However, VCW is a great place for innovative ideas and a place for opportunities .

Literature is known as the mirror of life and we can enjoy the subject without worries. The student teacher ratio is 60:1.The minimum qualification of the professor is M.Phil degree in SF stream and M.Phil /Ph.D degree with NET / SET qualification in Aided stream. The teaching method was really good and Practical and Cross References along teaching makes us to love the subject. The subject is too easy to crack and the night before exam study is enough to attain the average percentage.

As it is a Arts and science college , Students are eligible for placements from 5 or 6 the semester. Placement cell is established to train and groom the students for the interview. Infosys, TCS, HCL , Wipro , Cognizant and 25 + companies were visiting the campus and 60./. of the students were placed.

The cost of the course is 32k per year and the maximum cost of other courses are less than 40k per annually. The Institution offers many scholarships for the students such as 1. University Grant's commission Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship Scheme for single girl child 2.Govt. of India scholarship to Sc/ST students 3.National Merit Scholarship etc.,

Pongal festival is celebrated for 5 to 7 days and the campus is decorated in a 90's village theme and there were lot to explore and experience. Nearly 20 competitions conducted for students and they were awarded for their participation. Availability of books in library: 10,000 + books in different genres are available in the library. Besides referral books , Journals and Magazines are also available along with digital library. 150+ classrooms were available in the campus Sports: The institution conducts sports for every year in the time of February to March and the fest ends at 7.30 PM and bus facilities is available for every students even at that time Many clubs based on Departments and social services are supervised by both teachers and students. Women's Day have a peculiar place in Fests. College , Talent shows are also conducted. Besides that each Departments conduct their Department function once in a semester. The Institution also have its official Facebook page .

The hostel contains 4 blocks including AC hostel. The rooms were too spacious and Good Night is provided for each rooms. 4 person per room is the limit. The meals were really good and mouth watering . Wednesday and Sunday night meals is famous during my hostel days. The registration process is too easy and you can register your stay in a hostel office which is next to the Hostel gate. They screen Movies on Sunday night which have to be enjoyed during the stay
