Chikkaiah Naicker College, Erode popularly known as CNC was established in 1954. It is affiliated to Bharathiar University. The college aims at empowering young men and women by developing human capabilities through quality education based on moral values, making them responsible citizens who can create new things for the advancement of the society and to contribute towards nation building, thereby helping them fulfill their educational, emotional and social aspirations.

Extra Curricular Activities
NCC - The college NCC has the Army wing with the aim to develop character, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country. It also actively participates in very many community welfare programmes like Traffic Control, various awareness campaigns, tree-planting, blood donation.
