Entrance Preview

I gave VIT JEE examination and scored 7000 ranks. So I got computer science, the course I wanted. You just have to choose the stream if any seat is left, otherwise, go for the next option you have.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was really challenging. Every semester we had some core subjects and some electives to lessen the burden. Core subjects include computer programming, computer architecture, digital logic, algorithm design, programing language translators, etc.

Internships Opportunities

Super dream Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Cisco, de-shaw, and many established companies came for placements and offered internships as well. Stipend around 20k-30k in internship period. Some startups also came with really good offers.

Placement Experience

VIT provides great placement opportunities. Amazon 12 lakh per annum, Flipkart around 16 lakh per annum, Cisco 13 lakh per annum, De shaw- 16 lakh per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for the students who are enrolled on the basis of merit. It's expensive for those who get the college through donations. For me, the fee structure was 1st year 1,90,000, 2nd year onwards 1,70,000(including hostel and mess).

Alumni/Alumna

VIT Alumni Association has been envisaged to foster a closely KNIT network bridging the gap between young budding VITians and the accomplished Alumni. Our Alumni have made us proud time and again by achieving laurels around the globe and we wish to showcase the same to our entire VIT family.

Exam Structure

Exams in vit are very frequent. We have 2 internal exams with 3 quizzes, 2 lab exams, and a final exam in a semester. So sometimes it's really hectic but it enhances our knowledge and makes it easy to study during final exams as we have already studied for internal exams.

Faculty

The faculties in VIT are good and have standard knowledge of the courses. Their knowledge really helps us in getting a place in good companies. The faculties in computer science and engineering stream are really good and I am sure for other branches as well. We have a theory as well as lab classes which helped us a lot to learn the subject and explore more practically.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
