VITMEE 2013, my AIR was 568. I read reviews, I had my seniors there. I found that this college has awesome placements, so I opted for it. In the end, I got 3 job offers and 2 internship offers. I work in Mercedes Benz now.

I was FFCS (a fully flexible credit system). in my course, we have 54 electives, out of which we had to earn 73 credits. My course had Vibration Engg, tribology, computer graphics, fem, CFD, german/French, heat transfer, advanced mechanics, fracture mechanics and fatigue, composite material and manufacturing, etc.

I got into GE healthcare. It gave me 2 lakh for my internship. It was a dream offer. It gave good weightage to my resume , I immediately got absorbed in placement drives.

It's good, companies like Danfoss, GE, Ingersol rand, Cummins, ARAI IFB automotive, Wheels India, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini came for my branch.

It is a powerful package. We have one cultural fest RIVIERA(flooded with celebrities every day).

It gives Rs. 14000 for the batch topper. 5000 Rs. for 2nd and 3rd rankers. Also, the top six GATE qualified students of each class get a stipend. please check the figures on the website, it might have been revised.

They do give alumni ID which I have never accessed. but yes they do organize alumni meets. You can meet a lot of seniors in the hostel. And extracurricular events bring u even closer.

The exam is purely dependent on batches you choose while registering courses before every semester. CAT(Continuous assessment tests) are arranged twice per semester but also it depends on faculty. Exam patterns too are variable(open book/take-home/classroom). But believe me, it won't be easy at all.

They were good, due to o FFCS we had the facility to choose our faculty, class timing, etc. As per our own choice. At the starting of the semester, we register for the courses and choose whenever and by whom we want to study. Be it evening classes or morning. That way classes are very flexible.
