Always tries to Remind you of your Dream

I had enough percentage to take Admission in Good college, But I wants something like more than Good. Because I really wants to be a Great Engineer, who can help to improve our Nation. But the problem was the fees of most of the private colleges are very high. Actually my father is a Farmer, so I could not afford that. I've my younger brother-sister & my father has to pay their school fees and another stuffs also. So, I decided to take admission with Scholarship. Then I started to search colleges which provides scholarship on basis of student's Merit List. I also started to attend some seminars for admission process. Then, I found Saffrony Institute of Technology from it's own Website- www.saffrony.ac.in, then I searched for the Achievements, Competitions,Rank & placement of Saffrony. Then I applied there & I got selected in scholarship criteria with 50% of scholarship for 4 year BE-Computer engineering program. But I'm studying here now so, I can say this college is most for studies.

I selected Computer Engineering Course because I eagerly wants to know about the latest technologies every moments,wants to learn how machines work. I really interested in Programming & hacking. Also our future is going to be the world of Technology. In saffrony, there are more than enough faculties in Individual Departments.They has a very good qualifications from well-reputed colleges with Master's Degree. They have a very good knowledge of their own subjects.Everyone is different in their own,methods of teaching to students differs Teacher to teacher. There are a very well Laboratories of each Departments. Faculties are giving importance to Practical, its very important. Because if you've theoretical knowledge but you don't able to apply it practically so, that knowledge doesn't mean. Saffrony is coming under the Gujarat Technical University. College is taking 2 MID exams per semester before your Final University exam. MID Exam helps to get good marks in Final Exam. It can be tough.

In Saffrony, mostly in 4th year of BE, students starts to apply for placements. Placement in itself displays- compability, maturity, abilities of students and the college to prove itself. The companies visiting for placement are TeamTech24, Shrinivas, Yudiz, oozee, Brainteclab, DYP, GEMINI, etc. These companies places the students as their abilities. They take an Interviews, written exams, projects, etc for the selection of deserving students. The average package is 3.5 lakhs & the highest package is 10 lakhs. There is a 100% placement in Saffrony Institute of Technology. Each student was placed in different companies. For getting well placed Saffrony provides well teaching & also tries to introduced to the students with the real world. I'm in 2nd year, I really trying to learn about latest technologies which is going to be our Future! I'm trying hard for that. so, after getting Degree of Bachelors, I decided to go for Masters. Because I wants to do some more Research.

The total fees of BE program for per year is 74,000/- .But there is also a scholarship structure for Merit list short out students in 3 parts as 100%, 50% & 25%. If your Merit rank is in between 1 to 15,000, so you'll able to get 100% scholarship. If it is in between 15,001 to 20,000, you'll get 50% & for 20,001 to 25,000 so, yo'll get 25% scholarship. My Merit rank was 15,065 so, I was able to get 50% scholarship. Yes, for Middle class family to pay this Engineering college fees for all 4 years may not be possible at all. But if they got good rank in 12th so, they've chances to study beyond. Saffrony helps students to study & it helps me also. It also provides 50% scholarship to every Automobile, Electrical & E.C students, here students not must have to be with good rank. Every year students got well placed as they want in well-known companies. Actually, still I'm 2nd year student so, I can not share about placements as my experience.

The Annual fest name Fusion, It is organised by college every year in the month of March-April. Every year there were some theme on different topics to celebrate that Annual Function. The technical Festival name as VEYG, it is conducted in Month of February. It was interesting as I've 1 year of experience for that & now I'm in the 2nd year. There were also some Technical games, quiz & projects which were made by students & they have to present well in front of faculties, trustees & other students. There is a big library & department wise books, journals and also some of extra curricular books as motivational, story & all. There is one Sport fest also as name Udaan. Also sports interested students can go ahead for it as GTU(state) level, Khel Mahakumbh & National level. There are SAEINDIA Collegiate club, Robocon club, Hackathon club, Aerodesign club also. The BAJA club, Robocon club- social medial official accounts of college are managed by students only.

I have a first hand experience of staying in Hostel. It's infrastructure is very different as feel like as Home. One room shared by 3 students. Every single room has personal attached bathroom. so, the students can not face much issues due washroom availability. For every students there is an individual cupboard, table, chair and a single bad. Fee per semester for the Hostel is Rs. 21,000 & that includes all the necessities including stay and food! If we talk about mess is a big & airy. But everything can not be perfect so, yes sometime happened as you don't like that food but in general that was good & healthy. There are some rules & regulations also in Hostel which we must have to follow. There is also a ground/garden inside the hostel, not more wide but big enough to play games. I'm a sport person so, I plays Badminton & Football daily. It's greenery feels us so close to nature. The best thing is Hostel is in the college campus & it provides the complete security too.
