Remarks

The vibe and the opportunities the college has are great. The college provides the best environment for one to grow in all aspects be it socially or mentally. Sometimes politics can be a hindrance in smooth running of the college and students' life.

Course Curriculum Overview

The physics department is very big and well known department among all the other departments of the college. It has a large number of faculty team.This course is little bit though comparison to other courses. The university exam are held in December for odd semester and in may for even semester.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of my college is great but unfortunately my course doesn't have many options. The internship cell too is very active. The guidance and options are great. One could easily take up an internship. The big fours of the country: KPMG, EY, Deloitte, PWDC are some of the companies with a stipend that varies from course to course.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible as the institution is run by the government. The facilities, the teaching staff are great when compared to the fee one has to pay. The amount varies with course but is mostly near INR 10000 a year.

Campus Life

The college has a very big playground with a volleyball and basketball court. Students play here cricket, football and other games here. Labs are available for respective departments with all instruments.

Admission

Admission process is also very long. There is an entrance exam held and the results are out. After that a merit list is put up in both online and offline mode. The ones selected and having the name on the merit list can come for counselling.

It has a large number of faculty team.Faculty is student friendly. Some teachers are polite and humble while others are little bit strict. But all the teachers are of supporting nature. Some of the teachers are famous among all the colleges.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

I love computer science so I chose this department. The teaching in this department is very good and the labs are also very good.
