Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is designed in a way that included General, Organizational , Social and Positive Psychology as well. Also, at the end of third year, proper dissertation and thesis completion was also there.
Placement Experience
The placement cell is fine and not many companies visit the college as such and those who visit do hire from specific course profiles only. The stipend also varies and there is no opportunity for internship from college as such.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is Rs 4380 in the first year and same for all the three years. I think it's quite cheap if we see it in terms of other colleges and the facilities and faculty both are really good. One can consider this as an option.
Campus Life
There are various seminars and webinars conducted. In times of pandemic, guest speakers conduct meeting on zoom calls for a healthy interaction. Online quizzes and art competitions are also held for us.
Admission
Students applying for undergraduate courses is based on the merit list only. There is no process of interview or GD round. I chose this course as I always had interest in this subject in my 10+2 and wanted to pursue it further.
Faculty
The teachers of Psychology Department are very supportive and helped us to understand the concepts better. There was also a great deal of focus on mental health and helped us in the form of counsellors too.
