Remarks

Our college is one of the best colleges for hotel management courses. My campus life was quite busy and happening. I had made really amazing friends in my college life and some of them are still in touch with me. I also had very satisfactory relationship with my professors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The bachelor of science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is a course for three years. There were total six semesters in the entire course. Our professors often took our class tests to monitor our performance in class.

Placement Experience

The placement program in our college is great. Our college provides 100% placements. We got placed in several renowned hotels both national and international. Hotels like Taj, Oberois, ITC, Park Hyatt had visited our college for the placement program. The salary was also very satisfactory.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I had to pay around 2.64 Lakhs for my course fees. The fees was to be paid on the semester basis. For the first semester I had to pay 95,700, for the second it was 77,000 and for the last and the final year the semester fees was 91,000

Campus Life

In our class there were more girls than the boys but there were no gender inequality. Our professors had always treated us equally. Some of my friends were even from different states and countries but I had a good bond with everyone. My college also organized many extracurricular activities like sports events for us.

Alumni/Alumna

We had a social media group with our seniors where they used to guide us regarding the exams and the placement programs. My equation with my seniors were really pleasant. They had always guided me in my studies.

Admission

I had applied through online for this course. Then on the date given my the institution, I had to go for an entrance exam. Thankfully I had got quite decent score in the entrance exam and my name was there in the second shortlist of the selected candidates.

Faculty

I had really satisfactory relationship with all of my professors and the other faculty members. All the faculty members were extremely helpful and compassionate towards the students. Even we also had amazing guest lecturers who taught us really well.

Roller coaster ride

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest the curriculum which we got to study was not at all relevant to the current real world demand of skills because there was only focus on the bookish knowledge rather than the real world challenges. We students only gained bookish knowledge and because of that we are facing so much of difficulty during graduation placements. The exams were held continuously making students so restless. Everything was good but only this.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum of our college runs under the guidance of JNTU where all the fundamentals such as DSA ,program,data base and CN also core math are given in this college divides the conceptual,lessons in 5 units .for each unit we have submit assignment unit test and also an ALP which is concentrated on learning ,mechanisam which help student revise the concept in class itself.In terms of real world the curriculum builds the theoritical, knowledge but somewhat limited exposure where students should have get internships for an industry level experience or else atleast a entry level jobs help the students to learn as well.Area of improvement include more hands- on project works and more interactive teaching methods Like case studies and problem ,based, learning. Exams are regularly for 2 mid term for semester and one end semester exam.the difficulty level is moderate and manageable with consistent and study and focusing more on understanding concepts rather than rote learning

An Honest Overview of My College Experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.
