Course Curriculum Overview

In this 2 year course, my course curriculum taught me a great deal about English language as a whole. It prepared me for my career ahead. I wanted to become a teacher and the course gave me immense knowledge.

Placement Experience

This college had a training program and placement opportunities that helped me get my first chance for the career start. I applied for a teacher training program and gained all the practical experience needed. The salary packages offered to students were around Rs.1 lac to 2 lac depending on the job profile.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fees was Rs.31,000. It is quite nominal as compared to most of the colleges in the city. Apart from this benefit, the college also offered a scholarship program to students if they performed really well in the semester exams.

Campus Life

The college had a lot of facilities and a great infrastructure so that we could hang out in the middle of the lectures inside. My college also organised a lot of festivals and celebrated some important days like Independence and Republic Day.

Admission

I applied for the M.A. degree on their official website. They selected the students on a merit basis and the eligibility criteria was 45% marks in bachelor's degree. 5% relaxation was given to those students who belonged to the SC/ST category.

My faculty was always amazing to me. Since my dream was to become a teacher, the faculty always guided me and helped me for the same. I did not only grow professionally but as a person as well. It helped me realise how to behave as a teacher.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

Placement Experience:

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love computer science so I chose this department. The teaching in this department is very good and the labs are also very good. We have many exams in our semester.It would have been better if we had studied our theory paper a little better.
