Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is designed and developed by the participation of experts from eminent institutions/ organizations such as the University of Northampton ?UK, NIFT, IIM, IIT, Council of Leather Exports, etc. The Course is designed to produce Industrial experiments indispersed with academia in terms of Internship, Live Projects, Field Visits, Case Studies, etc.
Placement Experience
The Institute has a record of 83% placement across all campuses. Around 120 recruiting companies visit the campus. Various reputed organizations visit the campus for placement drives such as Amazon, H&M, Carlton London, Lifestyle, Jabong, Nike, Decathlon, and many more. Package goes around 6lpa.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible. Since it includes all the materials required for the entire year's curriculum so its around 2 lakhs per annum which again sounds expensive but the materials and products used are costly so its worth it.
Campus Life
Various extracurricular activities are available. The campus has a sports complex that offers facilities for sports like Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, etc. There are well-equipped indoor as well as an outdoor sports complex for the students.
Hostel Facilities
Both girls and boys?students are provided separate hostel facilities with well-furnished rooms. There is capacity of 288 in boys hostel and 144 for girls. The hostel is offered on the first-cum-first-serve basis and the fee is to be paid at the beginning of each semester in advance. Hostel is great. No complaints.
Admission
Admission to these programs is offered on the basis of entrance test conducted by the institute. I have the All India Selection test which is conducted around June. I cleared the cutoff set then to get admission into the college.
Faculty
Footwear Design and Development Institute has well qualified faculties with prolonged experience and exposure in taking up International assignments and projects. They are very professional and competant.
