Course Curriculum Overview

In my opinion the course is very good. I opted this course because I wanted to do master's in philosophy and I had a keen interest to become a philosopher. The course has many good topics such as Psychology & Social political philosophy, Indian Logic and Epistemology, An enquiring Concerning Human Understanding, Ethics and Philosophy of Religion and Contemporary Indian Philosophy.

Placement Experience

4.5

Yes, the college provides teaching jobs in private and Government schools. Many of my seniors are already doing teaching jobs in schools like Kharui High School, Bagaria Kalika Adarsha Vidyamandir, Murshidabad High School, Gopinathpur High School, Bagaria Kalika Adarsha Vidyamandir and Lalpur Santoshnagar Highmadrasa. which is very good for the placement after completing the degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure of my college was very affordable and low as compared to another government college. I paid an amount of INR 4400. which included all the important fees. Apart from my college provided much financial help to the poor and backward students in the form of scholarship.

Campus Life

There are many sports held by the college such as volleyball, cricket, badminton, kho-kho and hockey. Our college also provides facilities like Gymnasium, Wifi-zone, Indoor, outdoor games, transport service. The college has two big hostels for boys and girls. the hostel provides basic facilities such as a fan, study table, running water and 24*7 electricity backup. No sexual orientation takes place in our campus and it's a ragging free campus.

Admission

I filled an offline form by going along with my father. One of my father's friend is a teacher in this college. so they already told me to bring my document of 10+2 with Indian identity proof and passport photos. I had 78% marks in 12th and the college staff easily gave me admission in B.A. the admission procedure was quite easy.

Faculty

5

Our faculty is very qualified and most of them have more than 10 years and are M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil., PhD degree holders. The teachers conduct regularly tests and provide notes so that the students won't face any issue during the studies. In my opinion, we have the top-notch faculty in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Placement Experience:

from 6/7 th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys visited with around 22-23 offers , Cognizant visited with arount 15-16 offers , TCS visited with several offers(not sure how many) , that's it the big names. Apart from these small startups and companies visited too. Highest package offered was 11lpa by TCS , 9.6lpa by infosys, 6.48lpa by Cognizant. Profiles were ASE in TCS , PAT in CTS , SET in Infosys. The percentage of students placed was less arount 30-40% , mostly because the curriculum lacks placement prep. I have joined Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee after graduating .

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd say the BBA LLB curriculam si quite relevent and comprehensive. the blend of business management and legal studies really made me choose this course because it gives a holistic understanding of both fields. The curriculum is pretty practical and prepares us well for real- world applications like internships and moot courts and also sets a strong foundation dor further studies in law. In term of Imporvements i think the curruculum could benefit from more interactive workshops and practical training sessions and somtimes a bit more hands on experience and indusry exposure help bridge the gap between thoery and practice. Regarding exams, I find the frequency and timing are well balanced. the semester exams come at a good pace and whike some subjects can be challenging they are definately manageable with consisnent study.
