Remarks
Hostel facility is lacking which is the only problem of this university. Other than that, there isn't any negative side of this university. It's developing and yet providing best quality education within affordable fees and also striving towards the academic development of every child.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course mainly focuses on running of computer-based information systems and everything related to its support, devise, development and execution. Computer has always been my favourite since grade 8. And therefore, I chose this course. The duration is for four years. I totally love it.
Placement Experience
The university provides with internship opportunities to their students which help them grown and be more independent and also help them get closer to their dreams and aspirations. You get to achieve a lot in your duration of program. There are even jobs and placements available to students. Companies visit to recruit the students in the university.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the first year is 1lakh and six thousand, whereas for the next two years, it is Rs.102,000/-. The third-year fee is Rs.111,000/-. The total fee structure at the end of four years is amounting to Rs.421,000. So, I found this expensive but the course is highly qualified, so therefore the fees is okay
Campus Life
The university provides with many extracurricular activities like sports and various competitions like debates, seminars. There are numerous functions too like cultural functions and fates. And many more other activities are also held.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is lacking in this university as it is in a developing phase. The students who are coming from far away, needs to stay in PGs nearby. This is problematic but the university is working towards its goal.
Admission
the admission process is quiet easy: firstly you need to have PCM in your class 12th then you have to fill the form either online or collect it from the university .then you have to provide with all the certificates as mentioned in the form and then make the payment .after this you will be either selected on the basis of merit or entrance exam score or even an interview.
Faculty
The faculty of arts at William Carey University is well qualified in their respective fields and experienced too. They provide students with great deal of knowledge and guide them. The teachers are friendly and very helpful. The department of arts if headed by Mr. Maung sorenga who has a MA and MPhil in economics.
