Remarks

i would totally recommend this college to other students as well. this college is equipped with a lot of facilities, experienced teachers as well as infrastructure. it offers the best post graduation courses in physiscs.

Course Curriculum Overview

the course curriculum is narrow as it includes graduate and post graduation programmes. the speciality of the college is it offers Phd only in physics and bio physical science. there are limited seats thew curriculum is made moderate for the students.

Placement Experience

4.5

a lot of different companies from the country come to our college to recruit new students. the placement wing int he college do a very good job to train and help these students in getting selected by these companies.

College Events

4.5

our college does not only focus on studies but also focuses on other events in our school. the college conducts and hosts many activities for the students of the college. it is given enough importance.

Fee Structure And Facilities

the fee structure comes up to a minimum of 2.5 lakhs to a maximum of 3.5 lakhs. additional fee might add onto this. i feel like that is a pocket friendly amount for a common man as it is not too much.

Fees and Financial Aid

the college offers scholarship facilities to the students as it acts as a financial aid for students whoa re not financially strong. it is a good initiative which is taken up by the college for its student to help.

Campus Life

the college gives equal attention to extra curricular activities as much studies. there have been regular, quizzes, talks, seminars and more conducted for the students. it keeps the students very engaged

Hostel Facilities

i had checked out several hostels to stay in but then i settled on a hostel which a just 10 minutes away from college. i share the room with two of my other friends and we each pay around 3,500 a month.

Alumni/Alumna

there have been a lot of seniors who have passed out from this college. usually i dont interact with seniors as such but here the seniors come off as more friendly people and hence i have a lot of senior friends.

Admission

the candidates have to apply through an online application for their respective programmes. then if the student has a degree in M.Sc physics or chemistry the student can proceed. that is the minimum eligibilty.

Faculty

4.5

faculties are divided on the basis of their capability. they are all very professional and helps in the overall growth of the students and the college. they are very educated and hold multiple degrees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.
