There are no negative remarks about this college. The college strives for excellence in imparting quality education through continual improvement in teaching, learning, research, morals and ethical values. It also has various policies which strengthen the integrity of the college. The learning experience for me was more than satisfying.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams conducted here are much more relevant with the present requirements. As for the faculty, it is pretty experienced with IITs alumnus and the guest lecturers are from the best Industries. The student gets a fair chance of knowing the relevance of the subject being taught
Placement Experience
SDC gives ample amount of importance to practical work. As it is a good running hospital a number of patients are daily available ensuring regular practice and enough experience of the dental undergraduates, interns or postgraduates.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The course fee is 3.25 lakhs per year. Additional miscellaneous charges may be applicable. The hostel fees are 1 lakh rupees per year. Fees structure depends on the curriculum and course selected by the students.
Campus Life
SDC Library aims to provide the highest quality reading material and services. It is spacious. It has a planned and well furnished and stocked with a rare collection of journals, reference books, textbooks and books of general interest to cater to the diverse tastes of our enthusiastic students and learned staff members.
Admission
The eligibility criteria is that the candidates should have minimum eligibility for BDS in 10+2 with at least 50% (40% for reserved categories) marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For MDS, the minimum eligibility is a BDS degree from a recognized university. The admission to BDS program is completely merit-based. The admission form can be filled by visiting the official website of the college or by visiting the admission office in person. The office faculty also helps the candidate with information regarding the admission process.
Faculty
The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The learning experience was very good. The course curriculum is relevant in making us industry ready and helps us to become entrepreneurs by getting more knowledge from the faculty. The institute provides good practical knowledge also.
