Remarks

Saraswati Dental College attracted me towards it, due to its Fee structure, infrastructure, discipline, faculty, and teaching plans The thing I like the most about SDC is careful patient handling and treatment, the co-curricular activities along with studies for proper development of a perfect person on a whole. That strict schedule of internal examination process that helps in the professional exams later on.

Course Curriculum Overview

In terms of completion of course on time SDC lags a bit. Students himself/herself has to stay updated with the syllabus and study accordingly. Faculty provides full support, cooperation and help once the student is sincere towards his/her studies, completion of patient qouta and practical work If I have to give the name of faculties it will be Dr Himanshu & Dr Parul (OMFS), Dr Arvind (Prosthodontics) Dr Nitin & Dr Ayush ( Conservative Dentistry) Dr Chetan Chandra & Dr Himangi (Periodontics) Dr Anil (Oral Pathology)

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship in the campus No stipend as such

Placement Experience

3.5

No campus placement However alumini's are given opportunity to work and teach at college Very often students are placed as resident dentists in different hospitals and personal clinics

College Events

4.5

College holds festival celebration very often which includes themes and small competitions We have an annual fest of 5-7 days that covers all the three feilds ( literary, cultural and sports events) and appreciates students on his/her capabilities in different fields

Fees and Financial Aid

No any scholarship or loan facility offered However tution fee and hostel fee is being taken in yearly instalments

Campus Life

The SDC campus provides their students with well equipped clinics to work and learn Library to explore more, an auditorium, amphitheatre in the support of co curricular activities It also provides their children with a football ground, and a sports complex Boys and Girls hostels are also their with every facility needed

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are well aired and provided with every facilities involving laundry and mess Rooms are all double seaters and very easy to avail however the hostel seats are less as compared to the college strength The whole hostel part is divided into 3 buildings ( ug girls, pg girls and boys) If the student wishes to install ac and cooler he/she has to pay extra fees Rules for Hostellers are quite strict ( the in and out time, the use of electrical devices etc) Fine is strictly charged for violation of the hostel rules Mess provides both non veg and veg

would rate the curriculum 7/10. It covers basics like management, finance and marketing, which helps in real-world understanding. However, it needs more practical exposure and industry projects. Exams are semester-wise and moderate in difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since curriculum was given by AKTU itself, colleges only has the power to choose elective subjects- Few subjects were my fav and helped me alot in lot's of different scenerios - like EDC,Network Theory and ofc VLSI Design was my fav. For ECE students - university shd mandate Satellite communication and VLSI Technology a compulsory as it's a kind of core subjects and in every PSU as well as govt exams , questions from this subject always been asked by authorities. More faculties staff's are required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
