Course Curriculum Overview

For my course, lab work is the most typical part since it is radiology. We have given ample amount of exposure and our labs are equipped with the latest machinery. Also, the entire course is up to date and is accordance with the Medical Council of India which also includes the recent trend changes in the health industry.

Placement Experience

Placements are neither too good nor that bad. But we cannot blame the college for this though since in my course, there are very limited vacancy and most of the students go on for M.Sc since having just the graduation degree is not enough.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee for my course is pretty affordable and will cost you about 75,000 which I think is pretty decent for any para medical course. Given the facilities and the faculty we had in the college, it is justified.

Campus Life

The cultural fest organized by the University is of hell of a thing. I had the time of my life. With such a great crowd who would have thought that the future doctors can be so fun. The overall culture of the college is pretty good too.

Admission

The admission process is pretty simple here as all we need to register ourselves and after clearing the entrance examination which consists of Physics, Chemistry and Biology questions, we can go there for the offline mode counselling and documentation where seats are given according to the rank we get in the entrance.

Faculty

The faculty is really amazing and very supportive as well. We are given extra hours in our labs and all of them make sure that we grasp every concept and topic covered in the class. With the continuous assessments, all the students thrive to do better and study the course covered in the class on the day itself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen the Ballb 5-year integrated course and the staff is supportive. Almost every year all seats are full at the time of admission. The staff is very responsive towards the students. Almost all professors have a Ph.D. degree and highly educated staff with higher experience.

The current median package given by companies in campus placement is 4.1 lakh but the college is improving its placement to students ratio. The previous year out of 470, 350+ students got placed with a good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eliglible for placement from the 4th last semester. Google, Amazon,Infosys,HDFC,ICICI etc, highest package was 3cr pa and the average was 5lac pa. 100% who opt for placement oppurtunities. My plan is to get a job with a good package.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good here. The university provides internship opportunities from 2nd year itself only. One can explore many opportunities off campus as well. Most of the students enrolled in the course get placed. Reputed companies like Google, Microsoft, Jaypee Morgan, Apple, and Barclay's provide on-campus placements.

Placement Experience:

Our college arranges an interview for final year students of all branches. About 80-90% of students get placed in our college at an average of about 8 lakh per annum. Although the average of computer branches is greater being about 11 or 12 lakh per annum. The students also saw an increasing trend for placements in the past three years. The companies start coming for internship offers in the 5th sem itself and for placement offers in the 7th sem. Most students get placed by the 8th sem itself. Last year about 350 companies visited our campus and around 1500 students got placed. The highest package of about 40lakh was offered to a student whereabout average remained between around 11 lakh. The stats of thapar showed about 80-90% of students get placed with different job profiles. The companies like HCL, ACCENTURE, IBM, and HERO came to recruit students in Thapar. My plans as for now are to get placed at a good package in a company and after that work for 2 years and later pursue an MTech degree.

Placement Experience:

The placement offers at the college are average, but the industries involved in the placement drive are excellent. Some of the companies that participate in the college placement drive are Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, TATA Motors, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Infosys, with the highest placement offers ranging up to 18 LPA and the average salary offer ranging around 8 LPA, which is quite decent in comparison to other universities in our state, or we can say that the placement offer is high compared to our state universities.

Remarks:

I have applied to 2-3 universities and at past I was the student in GNDU. but unfortunately I didn't get any seats in other universities and my interest was to pursue masters that's why I remain there. Actually admission process is online there. first there is a entrance test and then candidates having highest merit will get seat there.

My admission in this college was done on the basis of NEET and the eligibility criteria was 50% marks from any recognized board. I scored good marks in NEET so I managed to get one seat out of 150 seats for myself.
