Course Curriculum Overview
The PG diploma in Airport operations is called PGDAO in short. The course is of 1.5 years or 18 months and teaches us with all there is to learn about the subject. Placement Experience
The placement record of the college over the past many years has been really good. More than 3/4 th students who sit for placements, get placed, on average. And the average package is also quite decent. The college even provides Internships for us.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the whole of the course is Rs. 330,000 for the 18 months, or 110,000 per half year. Though the fee can be seen as a bit high for any normal person, in reality it's amongst the average as far as aviation universities are concerned. But students can get scholarships, too.
Campus Life
Starting off with the diversity, though the number of seats available for the Diploma program is less (around 60), there is clear diversity as people from different geographical locations, backgrounds come to study. Also, there take place a lot of cultural fests, and collaboration with other colleges, too.
Admission
First of all, you need to have atleast 45% marks in 12th exam. After that, you have to sit for a merit test, which is OMR based, and subsequently, in a Group Discussion and then an interview. The admission process is lengthy, but one which ensures that only a selected few get in
Faculty
The teachers available in our college are amongst the best in the country. The teachers have personal experience in the field that they are teaching and it shows in the way they share information with us. The various projects and assignments make us focus on the practical side more.
