BVP conducts its own entrance exam at multiple locations. Exam is not very tough.

Course Curriculum Overview

Its was good. The subjects, technical languages, the practical, labs provided a good composition of all. The courses were not easy and were useful.

Internships Opportunities

No. We have to search internship on own. We had many companies in pune who provided internship.

Placement Experience

Placements is good. I got placed from my college. Almost 90% students got placed if they were eligible.

College conducts techfest Bharatiyam. Also there are other fest and get together. The college also has many clubs where we get the opportunity to participate.

It's feasible. As compared to many private colleges. But not as less as government colleges .

No, I didn't took any loan but many banks provide education loans to student.

Campus Life

There are 2:10 ratio of girls: boys. Its safe and good environment. Students were from different states and background. Very friendly and supportive.

Hostel and mess was ok. Generally students stay in hostel in 1st year. Later there are many options outside. The food is nt very good.

The exam was tough. The lab facility was good . Classes are conducted on time.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

The reason I chose this college were that i due to some personal issues and problems scored less marks in MHT-CET, JEE and other competetive exams which made it difficult to get admission into other colleges. BVPCOEP conducted a personal CET exam on the basis of which I was selected. They also considered 12th boards marks(minimum 65% required PCM or Physics, chemistry, and computer science(vocational course)). My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Other colleges I applied to were MIT Pune and Symbiosis Institute of Technology. I couldn't get into MIT because I couldn't clear there entrance test. The tution fees at Symbiosis is higher but is not on par with the quality of their education.
