Review on college campus and placements.

Our college has a beautiful campus surrounded by greenery. Our institute has well equipped laboratries with latest equipments, centrally air-cooled greenhouses, growth chambers and well laid out experimental farms. Our college also have digital library. Overall the campus is so beautiful and attractive.

It is a 2 years post graduate course, sub divided into 4 semesters, of 6 months each. This course is an advanced study of methods of improvement of crops and plants. This course includes lots of farm visits and industrial visits. Practical labs are the important part in our course as all testing of crops done in labs. The course structure is overall good but sometimes exams and labs leaves us hectic.

The placements offered by the university is far better than other universities. Various companies around the country come here for placements. The university helps students to get selected by improving their skills and by conducting mock interviews. The companies like pharmaceutical comapnies, agricultural companies visits our campus to select students.

The total fees of our course is 6,000 which is very less. It is very feasible and reliable to pay. Students from low income family can easily complete their studies from here. Fees can be pay by NEFT or through online banking.

Various extracurricular are organised by our college includes sports activities, cultural programmes organised by cultural societies, social clubs, environment club etc. Various workshops are conducted mainly for final year students. Plant day, green day and environment day are especially organised by our college.

I choose this course over other courses because after this course I am able to find lucrative emplyment across both private and government sectors. I got admission in this course on the basis of graduation degree in same stream and based on the performance in entrance test followed by counselling.

All teachers are well qualified and knowledgable here. They teach students by real life examples and by conducting practicals in front of us. They used all types of methods in teaching which are understable by students. Overall teachers are good in each n every aspect.
