Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of MBA in Culinary Arts is mainly designed to impart knowledge about becoming a chef. We are mainly given practical knowledge and kitchen work experience for learning the techniques involved in food handling and Hygiene. We have are also imparted with managerial skills.
Placement Experience
The college invites many renowned hotels, restaurants and hospitality industry every year. These industries are invited not only from India but also from abroad. Hence, our college offers an excellent placement opportunity. Since our college directly comes under the Ministry of Tourism of India, hence we have an added advantage over others while sitting for any placement test.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of the MBA program is quite expensive and not easily affordable. Many middle class families are unable to afford this fees. I had to pay ?80500 for the first semester, ?72000 for second and fourth semester each and will be paying ?77000 for the third semester.
Campus Life
Our college organises only a few extra curricular activities but these events are in itself best. I have enjoyed each fest and each workshop to the fullest. The best fest is our freshers party which we use to enjoy the most. In addition to this, our college organises events for promoting tours and travels in India.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is available in the campus of our college for both boys and girls. Any student can avail this facility by paying ?30000 per semester. The hostel rooms are quite large and they are properly equipped with essential amenities. The fees of ?30000 include mess charges also.
Admission
The admission in our college is based upon the marks obtained in BBA in culinary arts and we also have to take an entrance test. Only persons who have taken a regular degree in BBA in culinary arts with 50% marks can apply for this MBA program. The entrance test was designed to test our knowledge of current affairs and English. We need to obtain an All India rank in the entrance exam to get admitted to the college. After clearing this round, I had to fill the admission form with prescribed fees and submit other documents. In this way, my admission was completed.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is highly qualified and they have an experience of several years of teaching. Our college only hires those teachers who have vast knowledge of their field and also have teaching experience of at least 5 years. Our teachers don't teach us in traditional ways but they adopt modern innovative ways of teaching which increases our interest in learning.
