My Experience at ICI

The course fully equip us with not only culinary knowledge and skills but also prepare us to work in the Hospitality sector as well. From food costing to kitchen management and from food safety standards and hygiene to food production, we study every aspect of kitchen management for being a culinary maestro and that too within a span of 3 years segregated in six semesters.

Our college is actually pretty awesome when it comes to placements because let's be honest, at the end we all want a secure job, don't we? The placement drives start right from the August and more than half of the class gets actually placed. Some of the companies that came during my final year are ITC, Leela, The Park, Oberoi and they took a number of students.

The fee structure is neither affordable and nor that expensive. The entire fee for BBA is around 4.3 Lacs for three years and the fees is paid semester wise which comes to 70-72k per semester however, the fee in first semester is slightly higher than rest of the semesters due to addition cautionary money which is refundable.

The campus is spread in a large area with sprawling greenery and it does have a decent sized ground/ lawn for outdoor activities. We can see a diverse culture in the campus with absolute zero ragging or politics. Also, the gender ratio is dominated with males, but there is fair number of females as well.

I had opted for hostel facility, and let me tell you ICI has 100% accommodation capacity for both boys and girls. The cost of hostel is 60k annually which is to be paid semester wise and yes, the fee is inclusive of mess charges so no extra money spent for food.

I heard about this college through one of my friend whose cousin was also studying in its Noida campus back then. Like any other University, ICI also holds an All India Entrance Exam and the selection is solely on the merit basis. The exam is conducted in the selected cities across India and those are Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Noida, Patna, Tirupati and Thiruvananthapuram. Results are out within 45 days and on successful qualifying, you can visit the campus for getting the admission.

I feel the faculty is one of the best things about my college. I think each professor is passionate about enlightening the students with the correct knowledge and skill set. I have been helped by a lot of them that went beyond their limits to actually get me through my semester.
